Tsinghua High School held drama creation and performance training

At noon on October 30, the Youth League Committee of the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University held a drama creation and performance training meeting in B106 in 2015 to commemorate the "1229" Movement and revolutionary history short play performance series。About 100 directors, scriptwriters and main actors from each class of revolutionary short plays of senior 15 participated in the training。The training session invited Hu Taige, the best scriptwriting Senior 1403, Liu Shiyu, Senior 1414, and Xue Yawen, the best director Senior 1411, to share their experiences and exchange discussions with senior 15 students。Cao Yue, Secretary general of the school Youth League Committee, presided over the training session。

The training will be divided into three sessions。The first part is the sharing of drama creation experience。Hu Taige from Class 1403 introduced his experience in the process of "Knowing your object", "selecting stories", "Big Series" and so on。At the same time, it also explains the contrast between "mind and reality" in the editing process。Liu Shiyu from Class 1414 of high school introduced his skills in screenwriting from several aspects, such as "innovation within the theme - each person has his own revolution", "no one is perfect - from depression to excitement, the ability of incompetence", "sincere feelings are not grandiosity, there is no deep feeling for no reason"。

The second part is the exchange of drama performance experience。Xue Yawen from Class 1411 gave a detailed account of her experience as a director and things to pay attention to from the perspectives of "preliminary planning", "actor performance", "stage effect" and "final finishing", and shared her harvest and feelings as a director with the students。

The third part is interactive communication。The students of Grade 15 of High school exchanged with the students of Grade 2 of high school about the existing problems in script writing and performance。

It is reported that the "12 · 9" movement revolutionary skit competition is a traditional patriotic education activity of Tsinghua Affiliated High School。By writing and performing revolutionary short plays, students in Grade One can feel the revolutionary spirit and the sense of responsibility with the world in mind, stimulate patriotic enthusiasm, and link their growth with the destiny of the motherland。In 2015, the historical revolutionary short play exhibition to commemorate the "1229" movement took the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression as the historical background and historical events as the main line, involving literature, science and technology, politics and other fields, and groundbreaking design of the Southwest United University and other plays。This training is intended to let the senior 15 students have more mastery of the methods and skills of script writing and stage performance, and lay the foundation for the performance in December。
